Terms of use
Updated October 2026
The rules for using the LoadHoller website. In short: our figures are dated public data, our examples are made up to teach, our calculators estimate, and our templates are not legal advice.
These terms cover the website
These terms apply to your use of loadholler.com, including its guides, calculators, templates and forms. The site is run by LoadHoller. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Dispatch service itself is covered by a separate written agreement between you and us, sent after your first call. Nothing on this website is that agreement, and nothing here obligates you to work with us or us to work with you.
Market figures are public data with their own dates
Rates, indexes, ratios and prices on this site come from public sources named next to each figure, such as USDA, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Energy Information Administration and companies' own public releases. Each one carries its source, the period it describes and the date we checked it.
They describe a past period, not the rate on your load today. Sources revise their numbers, and we update ours on a schedule, so a figure may be out of date by the time you read it. Check the source before you rely on a number for a business decision.
Examples are not offers
Postings, loads, brokers, lanes, weekly reports and dollar amounts marked EXAMPLE are made up to show how the math works. They are not real loads, not quotes and not offers to haul anything at any rate. Nothing on this site promises a rate, a number of loads or an income.
Calculators give estimates
Our calculators run on the numbers you enter and the formula shown on each page. Their results are estimates for planning. They can be wrong if an input is wrong, if your costs change, or if a load has terms the calculator doesn't model. The stopping distance and transit time tools are planning aids only: always follow the law, posted limits and safe driving practice. Decide on a load from your own judgment and the rate confirmation in front of you.
Templates and regulations are not legal advice
Agreement templates, checklists and pages about regulations explain things in plain language. They are not legal, tax or insurance advice, and they may not fit your situation or your state. Regulations change; the dated citations on each page show what we checked. Talk to a qualified professional before you sign a contract or make a compliance decision.
Company and app facts
When we describe a load board, app, broker program or other company, we state only what that company's own pages said on the date shown. Plans, prices and features change. We are not affiliated with the load boards, brokers or data companies named in our guides unless our disclosure page says otherwise.
Partner links
Some links go to partners and may earn us a referral fee, as explained on our disclosure page. When you leave our site, the partner's own terms apply, and any product you buy is between you and that partner.
Using the site fairly
- Don't send false information through our forms or use them to send spam.
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of the site, and don't scrape it in a way that slows it down for others.
- You may quote short parts of our pages with a link back to the page and the date shown. The rest of the site's text, design and code belong to us.
No warranty, limited liability
We work to keep the site accurate and running, but it is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using or relying on the website, its figures, calculators or templates. This doesn't limit anything that can't be limited by law.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions go through our contact page. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
